Grandma's Trip

My grandparents have always been a big part of my life. I grew up just a few minutes from them and they were nothing short of perfect and involved grandparetns. Last March my grandpa passed away. It was really hard, but we all knew that he had lived such a wonderful life. Shortly after his death my grandma discovered that she had cancer. We had the opportunity of going out to visit my grandma a few weeks before she also passed away. It was such an amazing trip. We were able to spend some fun time with her. We had some amazing talks and a lot of closure. We were able to talk about our favorite memories together and we were able to tell her that we are going to name our first little girl Kathryn (after her). She was extatic. Vicente's cute sister, Luzma, came out with us.
